How to Make Your Conservatory Warmer for the Winter - 2 December 2025

Recently, here at Elite Fascias, we had the pleasure of working with Mrs C, who was seeking a conservatory that would blend perfectly with her property. She wished to maximise her space, without compromising the size of the garden. We continued to have a detailed consultation with Mrs. C to ensure we could accommodate her expectations and deliver the best possible results.

After the detailed consultation, our client selected an Edwardian-style conservatory – which was a perfect match for the proportions and character of her home. The Edwardian conservatory often has sleek lines, a rectangular shape, and a pitched roof. This was ideal for creating a spacious and light space, utilising the space that she has.

This classic design allowed Mrs C to enjoy her new generous amount of space whilst still enjoying her moderately sized garden. This connects her home and garden seamlessly, so she can enjoy it all year round.

These conservatories are a popular choice for homeowners due to their simplicity and practicality. They are designed with a square or rectangular floor plan, making them extremely efficient in terms of usable interior space.

The pitched roof and shape can complement both period and contemporary homes. The structure increases sunlight and improves the feeling of openness that the space gives. Even if there is not too much space to work with, it still feels ventilated, inviting, and open.

When combined with our superior glazing and insulation options, Edwardian conservatories maintain excellent thermal efficiency. They are also incredibly versatile and can be used for a range of purposes including a sunroom, dining room, storage, or even purely an extra living space to sit and relax.

Our team at Elite Fascias delivered this project with the upmost care, completing the installation quickly and efficiently with high quality and expertise. This ensures minimal disruption to their daily routine and results in a practical yet sleek living space that has added value to their home.

Nick & Sarah kept us informed with everything. Glenn & Kieron were great from taking the old conservatory down and putting up the new one.
I did feel sorry for them when taking the old down as it was just so hot 🥵.
They work hard , and are clean tidy & polite .

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When i ordered the windows, Nick came out a couple ot times. Really took time to explain all the options available, offered advice, made sure we were 100% happy before placing the order. Great customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Last week had my windows fitted by Elite Fascias, really pleased with them. There were a lot of windows and the team have done an amazing job. They were really tidy, the windows are great quality, great customer service from the team, they didn't even mind my little dog. Kenton was an absolute credit to the team, a lovely personable manner, even when he came on his own to do the pointing in, really great asset A big thank you to Nick and the team. I have already recommended you to my friend, and believe you have also been out and provided a quote for her.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had a warmer roof conservatory installed by Elite Facias. I can’t recommend Nick and his team enough. I got various quotes from other companies which were far more expensive than Elite, after viewing a friend’s conservatory that was installed by Elite we decided to go with them.
Nick and his team made the whole process easy, no mess was ever left.
We now have what feels like an extension without the hassle of surveyors etc. This conservatory has transformed my bungalow giving us much needed space.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Two very nice technicians arrived at the time promised and immediately set to work.

We had all our doors and windows replaced in one go as the old wood items were, despite regular painting, in a poor state.
We had previously cleared a good space by each window and door to make the operation as simple as possible.

Despite the warm weather the guys continued working and the work was finished in four days. They were very tidy and cleared up any mess they made and on the last day had an extra clear up which only left some light dust which we soon vacuumed up.

We had one small snag which we reported and was fixed the same day, so no complaints in that area.

If we needed this service again, which is unlikely, we would have no reason not to book Elite Fascias again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service throughout the process of getting new windows, from initial visit to the final fitting. We recently had aluminium framed windows, in a bespoke colour, fitted to the front of the property and we are delighted with the end result. The windows are everything we were told they would be. The ordering process was straightforward and the timelines realistic, but I must mention the fitting team, who were superb. We were a little wary of the amount of mess that might be created, but the team were highly professional, tidy, on-time and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had new windows, doors, fascias, and guttering fitted by Elite Fascias Ltd, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first consultation, the team was professional, punctual, and transparent about costs and timelines.

The installation was completed on schedule, and the workmanship is genuinely first-class. Every detail — from the clean finishing around the window frames to the alignment of the guttering — shows real care and attention. The new doors not only look fantastic but have also made a noticeable difference to the warmth and soundproofing of the house.

The fitters were polite, tidy, and respectful of my home throughout the process. They cleared up thoroughly at the end of each day, which I really appreciated. Nick also kept me updated at every stage, so I always knew what was happening next.

Overall, the transformation has completely refreshed the look of my property. I would highly recommend Elite Fascias Ltd to anyone looking for quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and a team that truly takes pride in their work.
